The Women Talk Money campaign enjoyed strong digital success throughout the campaign period (July - September). Social media spearheaded awareness and brand recognition, accounting for 34% of all visits to the website.
The average social media user spent 1:09 on the website, viewing 1.9 pages. The bounce rate was low, showing that only 66% of people left the site after visiting only one page.
The most popular landing page was the homepage, which accounted for 92% of all traffic fromFacebook, followed by ‘Gender & Money’ and ‘Common Issues’.
The overall engagement rate for the Facebook content was a high 3.9%, which means that 3.9% of people who saw the posts engaged with them by reacting, commenting, sharing, or clicking.
Despite very lean budgets, the campaign has managed to significantly benefit from digital marketing techniques to raise awareness and uptake of Women Talk Money’s resources.

Pointer is a non-profit organization, based in Melbourne that specializes in cut through guerrilla campaigns for the rights of animals in Australia. Pointer is focused on creating general awareness about the negative
welfare and treatment of dogs and their pups in Australian puppy mills. Puppy Mills in Australia have been kept quiet for a number of years and just recently, this issue has come under the spotlight in the media. The mothers of the puppies are kept in small cages, where they are continuously bred for profit and are forced to live in a horrendous environment.
Puppy Mills within Australia are well hidden from the general public. By purchasing a puppy in a pet store or purchasing a puppy off the internet, you are allowing the backyard breeders and puppy mills continue to abuse and torture innocent animals.
You are asked to compile a review and discussion of your experiences in the form of an essay. You must present a detailed critical analysis your internship experiences and examines the relationship between theory and practice. This assessment task is an opportunity to reflect on the knowledge you have accumulated throughout your degree and to connect it with the skills you’ve acquired working in a professional environment.
